The picture above is my attempt at being a MASTER POTTER (which I totally succeeded at) at a pottery workshop in Tiwi. The town in Bicol region is famous for its ceramics, and they have a shop where you can work. They have an amazing skill. The clay is locally sourced from nearby hills, and I had a lot of fun trying my hand at pottery.
This page is dedicated to that spirit of creativity and ingenuity. Any creative, interesting, or useful strategies or #hacks I can find will have a home on this page. It's not very big, now, but I hope it grows into a giant repository of tricks in the future! |
Craft Crates! I saw these on Pintrest and thought these were genius! I have 1 box per group of kids with 2 packs of fat markers, 1 pack of skinny markers, 1 pack of colored pencils, 1 pack of skinny crayons, 1 pack of fat crayons, 1 stapler, 4 rulers, 4 scissors, and 2 boxes of glue sponges (sponges that i've soaked in glue and put in small sandwich boxes). These are genius and now i don't have supplies running all over the place.
I got the idea to search for these from working in the Philippines and seeing how organized the students' supply cabinets could be.
